On March 19, 2015 at 7:00 pm the Bremen Police Department will be sponsoring the Bremen Police Department 19th Annual Basketball Benefit Game. The game will be held at the Bremen Senior High School boy's gym. The game will feature the police officers from the Bremen Police Department and other local agencies as they challenge the Bremen High School boys and girls senior players. The game is guaranteed to be very entertaining.
For the past 18 years the financial contributions made to the benefit game have helped many families deal with their life altering circumstances. This year the benefitting family is The Desi Jones Family.
On December 19, 2014 the precious life of Desi Jones was taken. Due to these tragic circumstances the family has been faced with an unsurmountable amount of stress surrounding the death. Compounding the family's grief are financial hardships associated with the funeral costs and lost income. Prior to the tragedy, the family was experiencing financial difficulties due to one of the parents not being able to work because of medical Issues.
The funds raised at the benefit game will be given to Robb and Amy (Koontz) Jones to alleviate a portion of the financial stresses.
The Bremen Police Department needs your support. Any donation is appreciated.
For a minimum donation of $150 you and/or your company will be featured on the back of the t-shirts that will be worn by the players and given to every person who makes a donation at the game. The t-shirts have proven to be a great way of advertisement.
