2016 Historic Bremen Calendars Now Available

by RT Henke on November 25, 2015

“Bremen Celebrates Indiana’s Bicentennial” is the theme of the 2016 Historic Bremen’s calendar. This year being the Bicentennial for Indiana, Historic Bremen decided to break from the past and use pictures of Bremen today.  Historic Bremen asked Keith Board, Derek Jensen, and Bremen Indiana Facebook to submit photographs taken around Bremen.  Selecting the photographs to use in the calendar was extremely difficult.

On the back cover of the calendar are the details of events planned by the Bremen Bicentennial Committee, Bremen 2016, and the schedule for the Bicentennial Oktoberfest,  October 7 -9. Also included is the first part of Bremen History Timeline covering the Pioneer Years.  The rest of the timeline developed by Historic Bremen can be viewed on Historic Bremen’s Website, www.historicbremen.org.

Calendars are available for $15 and are on sale at the Bremen History Center, Koontz Hardware, Town Hall, and Woodies Super Market.  They can also be ordered from Historic Bremen, Inc. P.O. Box 471, Bremen, IN 46506 (add $2 for mailing).  Make checks payable to Historic Bremen, Inc.
