Bremen Community Pool Offers Swimming Lessonsby Amy Wenger on May 28, 2014 |
There are fewer rituals of summer that folks enjoy more than frolicking in and lounging around a pool. Yet it's always imperative that swimmers know the basics means to maneuver safely through the water, and that's where the staff of the Bremen Community Pool stands ready to help.
Once again this summer, lessons are being offered for swimmers of various ages, and sign-up is taking place this Saturday, May 31 between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. at the pool. There are three sessions that will be occuring during the summer months - June 16-27, July 7-18, and July 21-August 1. The lessons are $30 per session for a series of 10 half-hour classes. During the sign-up process, the student's age and ability level will be considered in determining which classes he or she is eligible to take. A schedule of session times is pictured.
For those who are not able to sign up on Saturday, they are welcome to visit the pool during daily business hours, after the pool is open to the public on Saturday, June 7. Any additional questions can be answered by contacting LaurieAnne Wickens on Facebook or via phone at (574) 248-1183.
