Bremen Conservation Club to Host Breakfast Buffet and Raffle

by Phyllis Shoup on February 28, 2016

The Bremen Conservation Club with assistance from the Bremen Boys and Girls' Club will host a breakfast buffet/raffle on March 5th from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Bremen VFW/American Legion.  Proceeds from this event will be shared with the Boys and Girls' Club.  The event is being held in lieu of the annual Ice Fishing Derby that was cancelled due to unsafe ice.

All items collected for the derby will be raffled off .  Raffle items for the adults, in addition to the $250, $150, $100 cash will consist of rod/reel combos, a complete auto detail, oil changes, fishing tackle storage bags, other fishing related items, and miscellaneous gift cards from local businesses.  Items for the youth consist of a flipover type ice fishing shelter, $75 and $50 gift cards, rod/reel combos plus other fishing and non-fishing items.

Two separate raffles, one for a $400 AQUA-VU underwater camera system with only fifty $10 tickets being sold, and the second a guided bass fishing trip with a regional fishing professional will be offered.  Tickets for this trip are $2.00 each or three for $5.00.

Breakfast price for adults with a $10.00 raffle ticket is an additional $5.00; without a ticket is $7.00.  Youth price with a ticket is "no charge", and $4.00 without a ticket.

Everyone is invited to come have breakfast; win some cash or one of the many raffle items and support the Bremen Conservation Club and the Bremen Boys and Girls' Club.
