Bremen Missionary Church Hosts Summer Activities

by Bremen Missionary Church on June 19, 2015

Summer is finally here and with it come some great opportunities at Bremen Missionary Church! We have a few different activities in the next couple months that we would like to share with you.

Summer J.A.M. (Jesus and Me)
Once again we will have Summer J.A.M.  It will be held every Wednesday night during summer break from 6:30-7:30 at the Sunnyside Park in the Pavilion. We will take a break July 1St & July 8th but will be back at it the following week. Summer J.A.M. is geared for children Preschool- 5th Grade. During the hour, the kids will dive into the Word and learn about who Jesus is and what He has done for them.  There will also be some games, music, crafts, and snacks.

Vacation Bible School
Come out and join us for Roman Road Adventures VBS!  It will be held Sunday July 5 through Thursday July 9 at Bremen Missionary Church. FREE dinner will be served every night at 5:30 and then VBS will run from 6:00-8:15. We know that just because it is summer it doesn’t make life any less hectic so we wanted to help alleviate some of that afternoon chaos by providing dinner for anyone attending VBS that week.  On the Roman Road Adventure your little archeologists will be digging up clues and learning God’s plan! Every day we will focus on one of the steps in the Roman Road to Salvation.  There will be Bible lesson, music, crafts, and games. We have also added a couple new components this year. The first is Training 101. In training, the kids will dive into their memory verse for the day and take a look at what it really means, like what is God’ glory and why do we fall short, what is salvation anyway, the difference between knowing ABOUT Jesus and truly knowing Him in a personal way, and what in the world it means to be justified. The second is Bible Challenge where kids will receive a Bible, learn how to use it, and learn where it came from, who wrote it, why it is important, and that they can trust what it says.  VBS is for ages Pre-school- 5th grade. Pre-registration is not required. We will have a registration table set up every night.

Fun Fair
Lastly, we will also have our annual Family Fun Fair again this year. It will be Sunday July 12. During our regular Sunday service at 10:30 AM, we will share a little bit about our week of Vacation Bible School.  This is an opportunity for parents to see what their kids did on their Roman Road Adventure as well as get a chance to meet our congregation. Lunch will be provided after the service at noon and then the Fun Fair from 1:00-3:00. You do not have to come to the service at 10:30 to be able to participate in lunch and the Fun Fair as we understand that some families attend another church. There will be carnival games, prizes, and inflatables for the kids to enjoy.  Come join us for a great free family event!

You can visit our Facebook page www.facebook.com/bmckids for more details on our summer kids programs. And feel free to message us with questions as well.  We look forward to seeing you and your kids this summer! As a reminder we have our regular Sunday morning services at 8:00 and 10:30 as well as Wednesday night programs from 6:30 -7:30 going on through the summer for teens and adults too.
