Bremen Public Pool Announcement

by Town of Bremen on April 27, 2016

Pool Opening:
The Bremen Public Pool will be open for another season starting May 28th this year.  Weather permitting, the pool will be open Monday through Saturday from 1:00 to 5:00 pm, Monday through Thursday 6:00 to 8:00 pm, and Sunday from 2 to 6 pm.  Daily admission is $2 per person.  Family season passes are $85 and individual season passes are  $40.
The pool will again be available for rent and can be reserved any time outside of normal business hours and the cost is $40 per hour per pool plus $10 per hour for each additional life guard.  Pool rentals can be reserved any time during normal operating hours.

Swimming Lessons:
Our two-week long swim lessons, intended for children three years old through adults, are taught by our experienced staff in a safe and fun environment.   Our staff help students understand and master water safety, swimming techniques, and stroke development.  Advanced classes offer instruction in proper diving technique, life guarding skills, and long distance swimming. The Center for Disease Control advises that swim lessons can reduce the risk of drowning among young children.  Help save a life and enroll your child or someone you know in swimming lessons.
                First Session:
                June 13th  through June 24th
1/2 hour lesson blocks from 9:30 to 11:45
                Second Session:

Parent-toddler Classes:
Our one-week parent-toddler classes are intended to help toddlers 9 months to 2 years old and their parents become familiar with and comfortable in water.  First impressions are important, and our staff helps ensure a toddler's first exposure to water is a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable experience for both parents and the toddler.
