CFO Transition happening at Community Hospital of Bremen

by Debbie O'Keefe on December 10, 2014

Debra Kipfer announced her retirement as VP of Finance & CFO effective at year end.   She has served the hospital in that capacity for the past twenty-four years.

Debra and her husband, Lon, plan to stay in Bremen. She intends to continue to support the hospital and has already accepted an appointment to the Hospital’s Foundation Board.   Debra stated “The hospital has meant a great deal to my family and I over the years. It has been my great privilege to serve in the CFO position and to watch the hospital grow and change.  I am very proud of the facility and my affiliation with it.  I am also very grateful to have had the opportunity to work with my hospital family, both staff and volunteers, and have developed many lasting relationships as a result.”

Community Hospital of Bremen has named Amy Lashbrook as the new VP of Finance  & CFO.  She joined the organization in September and brings over 21 years of healthcare experience to the position.  Prior to joining CHB, her experience varied from working at area hospitals to a multi-specialty clinic.  During her most recent tenure in healthcare she spent 14+ years with Nephrology, Inc. and their related companies as CFO and acting CEO for an interim term.

Amy is a true Bremenite, being born and raised in the community. She continues to reside in town while her two daughters attend college locally.  Her financial background is also utilized as an active board member with her church. Amy is excited about the opportunities that lie ahead and the chance to connect with community members.
