MISSING PERSON: James Thomas Powers Jr.

by Tammy Venable on December 12, 2014

Stephanie Conner of Bremen is looking for her son, James Thomas Powers Jr.  He is 18 years old with multiple disabilities.  He was last seen at around 9:30 p.m. on December 11, 2014 when a police officer dropped him off at a Speedway gas station in Baker’s Corner on US 31 close to Westfield, Indiana.  The police officer did not know of his disabilities at the time and released him since he is 18 years old.

He is believed to be heading to Oklahoma.  Even though he is 18 years old, he has the mind of a 10 year old due to his disabilities.  James also goes by the name JT, Jimmy or Tommy.  His approximately 6 ft. 4 inches tall and 275 pounds, has brown hair cut short and brown/hazel eyes.

He has enough medication to last him until December 18th.  He has no money and did not have a phone,  gloves or hat.  He was carrying a duffle bag and skateboard.

If you see him, please call his mother, Stephanie Conner at 317-661-7465.  Please share this on Facebook and other social media to raise awareness of the situation.
