Name of Motorcycle Fatality Released

by Amy Wenger on May 18, 2014

An update to a breaking news story we shared with you earlier today - the identity of an individual who was killed in a motorcycle accident east of Bremen has been released. The deceased is 39 year old Stephen Ray Kessinger of Bremen. Kessinger died early Sunday morning, May 18, when the motorcycle he was riding crossed the center line near the 2200 block of State Road 331, just east of the Bremen city limits, careened into a row of mailboxes, and crashed. Kessinger was reportedly found lying in the yard of a nearby homeowner, and the accident was called in to local law enforcement at approximately 4:30 a.m. Kessinger was riding alone when the accident occurred. It is not known at this time whether he was wearing a helmet, and toxicology reports are still pending. He would have celebrated his 40th birthday on Monday, May 19.
