New Inspired Book Store Hosts Special Needs Event

by Tammy Venable on August 21, 2014

The recently opened, Inspired Book Store is hosting a "Pizza Party" event designed especially for people with special needs.  The theme is "All The Special Rainbows".  Owner, Michella Smith, who has a 3 1/2 year old daughter with Down's Syndrome designed this program to bring together special needs children, teens and young adults to have an evening with dinner and entertainment.

Smith set the date for August 30th.  Labor Day weekend may not work for everyone but for the ones that don't go out of town and want something fun to do that night, it will be a great time.  The event will take place from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.  The menu consists of Pizza, apple slices, popcorn and lemonade.  A movie will be played also.

Inspired is located at 118 W. Plymouth St. in downtown Bremen (the old Quinn building).  People must pre-register and pay $5.00 to help cover the cost of food.  Pre-registration can be done by stopping in at the store, texting 269-876-0099 or emailing inspiredspreag@gmail.com.  Register soon as seating is limited.

Other events are being planned too.  Children and parents alike will enjoy attending events that focus on families at this new book store and gift shop.  Books can be purchased during the events also.
