Project HELP Continues Helping Those in Needby Tammy Venable on November 11, 2015
Project HELP has been serving the needs of Bremen residents and German Township since 1981. Throughout the year, Project HELP assists needy residents with their electric and gas bills, among other things.
Each year, the group fills boxes for those in need of a nice Christmas dinner in the Bremen and German Township area. Last year 103 families received Christmas Dinner boxes. This year will focus more on a hearty Christmas meal whether that be for one in the household or a large family.
Monetary contributions are needed now and throughout the year to support this program. If you are interested in donating money, please donate money one of the following ways...
By dropping it off at 1st Source Bank and ask for the contribution to be put in the Project HELP Account, or...
By mailing it to Project HELP, P. O. Box 1981, Bremen, IN 46506.
Other contributions that are needed this year are canned fruits and vegetables. These donations can be dropped off at Bremen United Methodist Church Student Center, 323 N. Montgomery St., Bremen ONLY on Friday, December 11 between 9-11 a.m. (we do not have storage space before this time. Many churches put boxes out to collect for Project HELP during this season too.
