Whitlock Easter Egg Hunt Successfulby RT Henke on April 14, 2015 |
Saturday, April 4 was an exciting day at The Whitlock as children of all ages, parents, grandparents and great-grandparents arrived to hunt Easter Eggs. The volunteer Easter Bunnies had placed over a 1000 eggs around the gazebo area in The Whitlock courtyard. It didn't take long for the approximate 150 kids to gather the candy filled eggs and claim the prizes from the notes in the "Special Eggs". There were cookies and punch for those who had not made their fill on the candy from the eggs.
The Easter Egg Hunt was sponsored and supported by the VFW Post 8972, Men's and Ladies Auxiliary, American Legion Post 191 and the people of The Whitlock.
