3rd Annual Tractor Show in Downtown Wakarusa

Wakarusa, Indiana:  3rd Annual Tractor Show in Downtown Wakarusa!  Tractors of all colors, makes and models will line the streets of beautiful Downtown Wakarusa, Saturday, October 4th. 

Free registration begins at 8:30 with the show running from 10:00 am-2:00 pm.  Local non-profit groups will offer biscuits & gravy, donuts & cider and Lunch!  

"Over 60 tractors participated in the past", stated committee member Steve Shively, "so we hope to reach the 100 mark this year".  Awards will be given in the following categories:  Vintage-1949; 1950-1954; 1955-1959; 1960-1969; 1970-present; Garden Tractor and People's Choice.  The People's Choice tractor will be featured on the 2015 Wakarusa Tractor Show T-shirt. 

A limited number of the  "2014 Wakarusa Tractor Show" t-shirts will be available for purchase at the show featuring the 2013 People Choice tractor owned by LaMar & Brent Holaway - a Ferguson Pony.  Tractors from Weaver Ag & Lawn will also be on display.  

Many people enjoy coming to the Wakarusa Tractor Show as it is held on the streets of downtown Wakarusa. The Wakarusa Historical Museum will be featuring an Antique Farm Machinery Show from 9:00 am-4:00 pm also (Oct. 4th).  You can see how things were powered in the past such as sawmill & threshing demonstrations, corn husking, a shingle mill, hand bailing and the Civil War Re-enactors will be there also.   Parking and unloading of tractors can take place at the Wakarusa Missionary Church and Northwood Middle School parking lots.
