[DNR] Potato Creek SP begins Adopt-A-Trail program

People who enjoy hiking, biking or horseback riding at Potato Creek State Park may be interested in volunteering with the park’s new Adopt-A-Trail program. 

Volunteers will adopt a section of trail for six months and check it once a month. Volunteers will receive free park admission on trail work days. Participants will also be credited for that effort in an Adopt-A-Trail display at the nature center. The program is open to both individuals and groups. 

Work will including include trimming branches, picking up litter and painting sign posts.
