[DNR] Prairie Maze is open at Potato Creek State Parkby Department of Natural Resources on September 23, 2014
Get lost in the beauty of a tallgrass prairie at Potato Creek State Park’s prairie maze, open now.
Visitors can wander through 1.75 miles of trails cut in the 7-foot-tall restored prairie grasses.
There are eight stations in the maze with hints for finding prairie plants. Locating the plants will help visitors solve a word puzzle.
Maze walkers should park at the west lot at the northwest corner of Worster Lake. Maps of the maze will be available at the park entrance gate, park office and the nature center through the end of October.
The maze is free. Admission to the park costs $5 per in-state vehicle or $7 per out-of-state vehicle.
