[DNR] Project WET/Aquatic WILD workshop, Leesburg

by Department of Natural Resources on August 14, 2014

Event to be held at:
Leesburg Elementary School
6250 N. Old State Rd. 15, Leesburg, IN
Cost: Free

Get the best of both Projects WET and WILD and learn how you can teach water and wildlife concepts in the same lessons. This workshop will provide an in-depth look at water - its physical properties, aquatic habitats, the wildlife that lives in and around the water, and the role each of us plays in conserving and protecting this precious resource.

The Project WET program facilitates and promotes the awareness, appreciation, knowledge and stewardship of water resources through the development and dissemination of classroom-ready teaching aides.

Project WILD Aquatic has a similar format but focuses on basic aquatic wildlife ecology concepts and wildlife stewardship.

Upon completion, participants will receive the Project WET and Project WILD Aquatic curriculum guides. Professional Growth Experience Points are available upon completion.
Registration Deadline: August 18, 2014
