Habitat For Humanity Dedication Ceremony

by G. Dean Byers on June 24, 2014

Habitat for Humanity of Marshall County has completed its fifteenth home in Marshall County and will hold a dedication ceremony, Sunday, May 29th at 2 PM. The Rev. Lester Johnson will officiate.  Constructed started in the fall of 2013, with volunteers working each Saturday, toward the goal of
a new home by late spring.  The new home is located at 824 N. Plum St. in Plymouth.  The public is invited to attend the ceremony, tour the home and meet the family that has completed all the requirements to become a Habitat partner family.

Habitat volunteers will be available to meet with those who may be interested in applying for a home and how a family may qualify.   Habitat for Humanity is an ecumenical Christian ministry that welcomes to its work all people dedicated to the cause of eliminating inadequate housing worldwide. The Marshall County  Habitat for Humanity affiliate was established in 1999.
