Photographs from the Wakarusa Antique Tractor & Farm Machinery Show

by Amy Wenger on October 7, 2014

These photographs were taken at the annual Antique Tractor & Farm Machinery Show, held at the Wakarusa Historical Museum on Saturday, October 4. There were guests from Nappanee, representing the farm preservation group "Power From the Past," along with other regionally based owners of vintage farm equipment.  Demonstrations on threshing, hand bailing, corn husking, steam engines, and hit-and-miss engines were held.  There were also Civil War re-enactors, free popcorn, and a full lunch buffet for exhibitors and guests.  The event was sponsored by significant financial contributions from Bellman Oil, Monteith Tire, Wyatt Sales & Service, Weaver Ag & Lawn, Glenn's Tire, and Wakarusa Nutritional Service.

All photographs were provided by Amy Wenger.
