Looking for something to do in the area over the Labor Day weekend? Potato Creek State Park, which is situated between North Liberty and Lakeville on State Road 4 is offering family activities for those coming to the state park over Labor Day weekend. Activities are free with paid admission to the park.

August 30
10:00 a.m. - Fish Prints
Bring a washed t-shirt or use our paper and make a fish print as we learn about fish. 45 minutes.
12:30 p.m. - Hoosier Quest Series
Find out how to earn a patch or pin in this newly revamped program while visiting the Parks.
2:00 p.m. - Cemetery Tour
Hear of the burial traditions and symbolism of a 19th century cemetery on this tour. 1 hour.
3:30 p.m. - Roving Naturalist Beach
Be on the lookout for a park naturalist with a unique critter or item.
8:00 p.m. - Owl Prowl
Come learn about owls as we attempt to get some to respond to our calls on this short hike. 1 hour.
August 31
10:00 a.m. - Feeding Time
Stop by the Nature Center to watch the animals being fed. 30 minutes.
12:30 p.m. - Hoosier Quest Series

2:00 p.m. - Bat-Tivities
Come learn about bats by participating in some bat inspired activities. 45 minutes.
September 1
Nature Center Closed
In-State Daily Entrance fees at Potato Creek are $5.00 for Non-commercial vehicles with Indiana license plates, every day including holidays. Admits driver and passengers. $7.00 for out of state license plates. A Daily Fee of $2.00 for each person, 5 years old and older, entering as a pedestrian, on bicycle or horseback. Annual entrance permits are also available for $40.00. Admits non-commercial vehicles, driver and passengers to DNR properties which charge a gate fee. Good from January 1, until December 31, of the year issued.
