Potawatomi Wildlife Park Holds 2nd Annual Banquet

by Potawatomi Wildlife Park on February 11, 2015

The Potawatomi Wildlife Park in Tippecanoe is holding their second annual banquet, scheduled for March 7th. We bumped it into March hoping for a break from the icy winter weather that we experienced  at ast year's banquet.

This year’s banquet will again be held at the Back Forty Banquet Hall, Bourbon.  Doors will open at 5:30PM with hors d'oeuvres and musical entertainment by local musician Jeff Unterbrink.

The evening’s catered dinner includes oven fried chicken, baked ham, roasted red potatoes, green bean casserole, baked beans, tossed salad, and Heet’s Treat’s cupcakes for dessert.

Festivities include an auction, and an update on what has been happening at the park as well as the park’s plans for the coming year.

Mary McConnell, Director Indiana Chapter of The Nature Conservancy will be our featured speaker. The event will end with a DJ and dancing who those who would like to stay and dance.

Tickets are $30. No tickets sold at the door, get yours by the February 28th deadline and Support the Park! To purchase individual tickets, see, a board member or contact the park at or (574)498-6550.

We are planning both a silent and live auction and still accepting auction items.  We are also currently seeking table and banquet sponsors.
