‘Spring Has Sprung’ at the Wakarusa Public Libraryby Shondra Brown on March 30, 2015 |
It’s time for our April “Spring Has Sprung” contest. The bunnies are on the loose in the library, and we need your help finding them all! You may fill out an entry form with each library visit during April 6 – 25. A book prize pack will be awarded to a random winner on April 27.
Story Hour, ages 3 – 5 years old, will hear a “Bunny Tale” and participate in an activity and/or craft. April 13 and April 14, 10:15 – 11:00 a.m., registered children will hear “Wee Little Bunny” by Lauren Thompson.
Join us on Thursday, April 16, for our next Family Program; we will be having an Egg Hunt for the whole family! We will hide the eggs around the library, and you’ll need to work together to earn your prize! Participants will also enjoy a story and a craft. The start time for this event is 6:30 p.m., and registration is required. All ages are welcome to attend.
“The Golden Touch” is currently running on our Dial A Story Line at 862-4441. Hear how a happy King Midas gains a new insight on life.
