Spring has Sprung Contest at Wakarusa Public Library

by Shondra Brown on April 6, 2015

It’s time for our April “Spring Has Sprung” contest.  The bunnies are on the loose in the Wakarusa Public library, and we need your help finding them all!  You may fill out an entry form with each library visit during April 6 – 25.  A book prize pack will be awarded to a random winner on April 27.

Join us on Thursday, April 16, for our next Family Program; we will be having an Egg Hunt for the whole family!  We will hide the eggs around the library, and you’ll need to work together to earn your prize!  Participants will also enjoy a story and a craft.  The start time for this event is 6:30 p.m., and registration is required.  All ages are welcome to attend.

Our next board meeting will be Friday, April 17, at 7:45 a.m.  The public is welcomed to attend.

Story Hour, ages 3 – 5 years old, will hear a “Bunny Tale” and participate in an activity and/or craft.  April 20 and April 21, 10:15 – 11:00 a.m., registered children will hear “Hurry Up and Slow Down” by Layn Marlow.

“Lazy Jack” is currently running on our Dial A Story Line at 862-4441.    Hear how A foolish boy is richly rewarded for being such a silly fellow.
