Wakarusa Historical Museum to Host Valentine Dinner

by Amy Wenger on January 28, 2015

There is a fanciful canopy of gossamer that connects the virtues of romance and reminiscence.  At the Wakarusa Historical Museum, there will soon be an occasion for guests to add their own memories to the gilded atmosphere of history and heritage that the Museum has been celebrating at their current site for the past 40 years.

The Wakarusa Historical Society is extending an invitation to celebrate Valentine's Day at the Museum on the evening of Saturday, February 14, with a candlelight dinner served by Dal-Mar Catering of Nappanee.  For a suggested donation of $35 per couple, the reservation will be guaranteed for a 7 p.m. affair in the Memories Building of the complex, which is located at 403 East Wabash Avenue in Wakarusa.

The meal includes a choice of either ham or Swiss steak, green bean casserole, mashed potatoes, salad, dessert, and a choice of non-alcoholic beverages.  Checks can be sent to the Museum at their mailing address, which is Wakarusa Historical Museum, P.O. Box 357, Wakarusa, Indiana, 46573.

Other forms of payment can be arranged by contacting Linda Spicher at (574) 514-4425 or Janice Moore at (574) 210-1277.  The favor of a paid reservation is required by February 4.

Seating space will be limited, and payments are non-refundable.  For further details, contact either Spicher or Moore, or make additional inquiries at
