Wakarusa Library Celebrating 70 Years!

by Shondra Brown on October 29, 2015

Story Hour children will hear a story about car races, including “Troto and the Trucks” by Uri Shulevitz, on November 9 and November 10 at 10:15 a.m.  The sessions are for children ages 3 – 5 years old who are registered for the program.

Join us during our open house celebration!  70 years of library history will be on display from 3 - 6 p.m. on November 12 in the library meeting room.  Help us celebrate by sharing your memories, browsing our displays, and entering our giveaways.  The physical appearance of the library has changed a bit over the years, but one thing has always remained the same...our community and our patrons!  Refreshments will be served.

“Billy Goats Gruff” is currently running on our Dial-A-Story Line at 862-4441.  Callers will hear how an ugly troll is all that stands between three billy goats and a grassy hillside.
