Wakarusa Library Closing at Noon on Good Friday

It’s time for our April “Spring Has Sprung” contest.  The bunnies are on the loose in the library, and we need your help finding them all!  You may fill out an entry form with each library visit during April 6 – 25.  A book prize pack will be awarded to the random winner on April 27. 

In observance of Good Friday, the Library will be closing at 12:00 noon on Friday, April 3,

Join us for “Rhyme Time” on April 7, between the hours of 9 a.m. – 7 p.m.  We will have activities, stories, crafts and a movie that run periodically throughout the day!  This event is open to all ages, and no registration is required.  Call 862-2465 for more information and specific times.

Book Bites will take place Wednesday, April 8 at 10:15 a.m.  Children will hear a story, “The Duckling Gets a Cookie” by Mo Williams, and share in either a craft or an activity.  No registration is required, and this event is open to all ages.

“The Unhappy Chickens” is currently running on our Dial A Story Line at 862-4441.    Hear how some greedy chickens find that life requires both give and take.
