Alex Lowe Signs Letter of Intent

by Troy Holmes on January 23, 2015

Alex Lowe has signed a letter of intent to attend the University of Saint Francis in Fort Wayne where he will continue his soccer career and study Sports Management.

Alex, a senior at Bremen High School, was named Most Valuable Player this past season for Bremen's soccer team and earned All Northern State Conference 1st Team honors.  Serving as team captain, Bremen won its fourth consecutive Northern State Conference championship in the fall.  In addition, Alex was named Top Team Player by the Indiana Soccer Coaches Association.

As a junior, Alex was named Most Outstanding Defensive Player and NSC Honorable Mention.  He was a member of the Elite North Junior All Star team.  "Alex has worked diligently to become a college-ready soccer player.  He has brought incredible servant leadership and an unyielding work rate to our program for the past four years." stated BHS Coach Mark Yoder.  "His hard tackling, aerial presence, and vision for the game will serve him well as he takes his talent and love for soccer to the St. Francis program.  I was very impressed with Coach Ellisen¹s commitment to know Alex as a person and then as a player.  I look forward to Alex accomplishing great things as both a student and athlete under his tutelage."
