Wickens Signs Letter of Intent

by Troy Holmes on January 20, 2015

Kris Wickens has signed a letter of intent to attend Indiana Institute of Technology in Fort Wayne where he will continue an already outstanding cross country and track career.  Kris, a senior at Bremen High School, has been a 3-time Most Outstanding Runner on Bremen's cross country team and was named All Northern State Conference for the past 3 seasons.

As a junior, Wickens qualified for the IHSAA Cross Country State Finals and competed at the Semi-State tournament this past season.  In addition, Kris has been named Class 2A All-State by the Indiana Association of Track & Cross Country Coaches for the last two years.

Bremen High School Cross Country Coach, Jeff Fitch, stated, "It has been an honor coaching Kris for the last few years. He is a very hard working, self-motivated young man. Throughout his running career at Bremen High School he has accomplished many goals and now that he is moving onto another phase of his life, he will bring pride to Bremen for what he will accomplish."

Congratulations Kris!
